The great luggage fire of 2012

Sharon had really brought too much from Australia with her. I was quite unhappy about the whole thing and decided some radical action was in order.
Burning it!
This was accomplished by a high speed run down the motorway with the exhaust that I hadn't stopped from blowing on the top box melting an of items.
















Shoes, make up and extra clothes all gone in the matter of a 20 minute run.
Unfortunately in my haste I also got the laptop.




We chose the safety of a petrol station to pull in while it was still smoldering.




Fortunately the service station had some backs packs for sale and with a bit of rearranging we were soon back on the road with minimal loss - even the laptop still works in a fashion.
