It was fantastic to wake up amongst the dunes it was a great nights sleep and by sleeping very close to the fire I was to keep warm. Three days in and I well over the Bivvy Bag - dumb idea very cold.
From here we were headed up through Omicron, Epsilon and Orientos Stations and on to the Dig Tree.

Turn off to Epsilon |
We saw a pack of dingos on track - they weren't very scared and came to check us out. |
Out on the main drag - it had been paved since last the previous year. |
As only Tim and I had been to the Dig Tree before we took the others out to that fateful spot.
The Dig Tree |
At the Dig Tree we had some corned meat - it was little concerning that not even the flies were on it, Yum!
The Cooper had not long been out of flood |
From here it was on to Innamincka for the night and a camp on the Cooper Creek.
Our camp for the night - nice a green. |
I don't think I need to say where this is. |
After we setup camp and fart about it was up to the pub for a meal. I had bok-choy and kangaroo it was one of the best feeds I have had as good as anything you would get in Brisbane.
