Moscow

Well when I booked the accommodation in Moscow I thought I had booked 2 nights. Mmm somewhere along the booking process I clearly didn't click the right buttons. So first order of business in the morning was to find some new accommodation. The guys at Godzilla's were really good finding us something right around the corner, so much so that all we did was carry our gear down there and leave the bike where it was. Also a big thanks to Alexly at Godzilla's who helped us with our luggage.

This is Charlie an English girl who seeing Moscow and St Petersburg with her sister.

Godzilla's is full of pictures like this.
So from Godzilla's it was on to Chillax a brand new Hostel run by Alex who is a Russian guy who spent much of his time in US for study. Interesting time and his has a nice hostel.

It was Cinco de Mayo so the team at Chillax put a nice Mexican feed on for us. The people in the picture include another two Aussies. They are everywhere.

Moscow was a little crazy as many public places where closed due to the Presidential inauguration and the 9th of May (Victory Day) celebrations. But we did get to see some interesting things. Including a rehearsal for Victory Day on the way to church.

Soldiers and Cops everywhere oh it was also supposed to be a day of protest so there were anti riot police everywhere as well.
But we did have a walk around a saw a number of nice things.

English Garden at the Church we went to.

With city shut down and with us not being able to get into Red Square, Lenin's Tomb or some Metro stations. I had enough of cites and crowds so we decided it was time to leave Moscow and head to Suzdal a small town that was full of Russian Architecture.
