The Ferry

Well we did get up early and it was a mad belt up through the middle of Sweden to Stockholm and the ferry port. In the end we got there with time to spare.

When we got on board 'The ferry' we discovered it was also a 4 day cruise ship for people to visit St Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm and Tallinn, mostly aimed at Russians.
It was nice and comfortable and our beds in the hold weren't too bad! The run out of Stockholm was magnificent as the boat went out through the Swedish archipelago, very beautiful.

After a stop in Tallinn which we used to catch up on things by catching up on things by using the free WiFi in the Ferry terminal it was on our way to St Petersburg!

We got of the boat at about 9:00 and it was 11:00 by the time we cleared customs, lots of paperwork filled in multiple times! Finally we got it right! And we are in Russia! Having to pinch ourselves.
Big thanks to Temur who we met on board for his help with with the paperwork!

First stop our lovey host Valentina.
